Today I write with pure joy and expectance on the Lord as I know without any doubt that I have correctly discerned His calling on my life. On April 4th I am moving from my current home with the Colwell family- they've housed me, fed me, and made me part of their beautiful family for the past 5+ months. I'm joining community living again at the YWAM base in Arvada, CO while taking the School Of Ministry Development. S.O.M.D. is a 12 week course that God has revealed to me I need. I will gain a better foundation for a future in full-time missions ministry. The SOMD school ends just 9 days before Birth Attendant School in Perth, Australiabegins! My current plan is to fly home to WA on June 24th before flying to Sidney, Australia on Sunday June 26th! My return to the States won't be until early June of 2012. Yes, the Lord is sending me on a year long service overseas and as your daughter and a representative of CCA I am in desperate need of your prayers and support! My year long projected expenses including travel will be approximately $12,000 - so far I have about $4,000 of that saved. So another $8,000 is needed in just 4 months time! With God it CAN be done! Together we've seen the great things God has allowed me to take part in this past year; now my mission is to spend 12 weeks in training and then 8 months practicing in a developing nation as a missions midwife, so please help me get the word out.
